FAQ

Heroes

• Ashka (played if you bought her with Grand Moff Achrist Sosano) does not count as a player for the purposes of determining loss conditions. She unaffected by Ambush effects, Escape effects, and ignores and is ignored by all Master Strikes and Schemes. She does not discard a card or gain a Wound when a Villain escapes. 
• Rockland's starting hand size is calculated before he draws a Villain card on his turn.
• Master Rottstreet's Leaping Attack cannot be performed off of the other Kagin hero. 
• Similarly, both the Susannah Grenville and Bonnie Parish Heroes count as Susannah/Bonnie for any effects (e.g., Ivo's Fantastic Fighting Four). 

Villains

• When you KO a Villain with Z'zarla, do not gain any treasures she might have. They go into your Victory Point pile, but since this game does not have Victory Points, really, you can just throw them on the floor or something if you want.

Masterminds

Schemes

• Scheme Twists attached to Villains (e.g., with "Everyone's A Jerk") are ignored by McNab's Gravel Voice as if they were Treasure.

Escaping Villains

• Remember, resolve Incoming Villain effects in this order:
• First, the Ambush effect triggers. 
• Second, if a Villain is escaping each player picks the order to:
• Discard a card/gain a Wound 
• Resolve the Villain's Escape effect (if any)
• This can be very useful if the Escape effect is "KO a card costing 1 or more from your hand" and you only have one of them as a Villain escapes. 
• If you have no cards, you may still do the "Discard a Card" effect (as it is not a cost).
• Similarly, if there are no Wounds left in the Wound deck, you may choose to 'gain a Wound'. 
• So, in both of the above instances, there would be no actual penalty. Other than, goddamn, you've gained a lot of Wounds/discarded a lot of cards already!
